This was a reference to Athey’s 1994 “Human Printing Press” from 4 Scenes In A Harsh Life, Brough back in honor of the fact that it was another World AIDS Day, this action fit in with scenes from Athey’s Acephalous Monster, Fanaa’s burial dirt ritual and Cassils glass. The cutting was done over the top of Athey’s sacred heart tattoos (done by Bob Roberts in 1982), a fitting action for the theme “Dionysus vs. the crucified one”
